The Gifted Kids Educational Foundation has partnered with "The Rhythmic Arts Project" (T.R.A.P.), "Pearl Corporation" and Nathaniel's Hope in Central Florida to bring this exciting project to Central Florida.

This unique project offers therapeutic and instructional techniques utilizing percussion instruments (manufactured and distributed by Pearl Percussion) . T.R.A.P. can be both with mainstream children and children with disabilities to teach concepts such as counting, letters colors, patterns, shapes and much more. It can be utilized to aid in learning, therapy and to increase student/patient participation. The program is easy to use and can be easily implemented by teachers, nurses, paraprofessionals, therapists and parents.

The new edition (currently under publication) is a more advanced version which includes lessons for elementary, middle and high school students, as well as students with disabilities. It features lessons on addition, subtraction, multiplication, music notation, etc. A step-by-step exercise book along with the Pearl Percussion instruments is included with each package.

The Pearl TRAP percussion packages are ideal for educational settings, therapeutic sessions and home use.
