Gifted Kids are kids with a high IQ, exceptional talent (in one or several areas) or high achievers. In order to achieve their potential it is important that they are challenged and given the opportunity to use their creativity to excel in the areas that most interest them. This requires patience and a network of support to help them achieve their potential. Parents, Teachers, Family and friends can help with this. Participating in online collaborative projects, camp experiences, university programs and school programs can help with this. To find out the programs that your school offers for gifted kids contact your child's school. There are a number of online resources, collaborative project experiences and camp experiences listed on this site that can help encourage them along the way.
